History of Parkhotel Kurhaus

The Parkhotel Kurhaus was built in 1913 by the well-known architect Prof. Emanuel von Seidl. During World War I, the hotel hosted the German military headquarters and it was the military seat of the last Kaiser Wilhelm II. At the same time, General von Hindenburg and Erich Ludendorff (the Quartermaster General of the German general staff)  were also in Bad Kreuznach.
